Let Me Introduce Myself
Real Estate - A Life Long Dream
Because of her active family (including three teenage boys!), Kate chose to set aside her national endeavors and move forward to a lifelong dream: building a thriving real estate career in Winchester, Virginia, the community she has called home for 20 years. Kate’s negotiating prowess, her tenacity and energy, integrity and professionalism, as well as her passion for helping individuals to achieve their dreams, make her uniquely qualified to offer the best possible service to her clients as they buy or sell a home.
As a speaker, a regular on national television and radio shows, and a widely acclaimed author, Kate Obenshain spent 25 years championing her strong convictions about individual liberty on a national platform. She made a name for herself debating some of the most powerful names in the public policy arena and taking on the tough issues facing our nation today. Called “unquestionably one of the best speakers in the nation,” Kate served as a U.S. Senate chief of staff, chairman of a state political party, and vice president of a national non-profit educational foundation, all while being a mom to four children.
Passionate About Country And Community
Kate has served on numerous state and national boards including Young America’s Foundation’s Board of Directors and the Virginia State Council for Higher Education. Currently, she is a member of the Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute’s Board of Directors, the NRA’s National School Shield Advisory Board, and the Steamship Institute's Advisory Board. In 2004, she founded the Jennifer Byler Institute, a leadership training program for women in Virginia that continues to this day. Locally, she has served on the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley’s advisory committee, her church’s vestry, and as a co-director of the Apple Blossom Festival . Currently, when she isn’t assisting her clients, she is active in her children’s myriad activities, enjoying her friends and extended family, gardening, running (okay, jogging), and being involved in her church.
